FORT WORTH – Accomplished attorney Ray Khirallah from the Dallas personal injury and wrongful death law firm Hamilton Wingo recently delivered two presentations at the “Becoming a Trial Lawyer” continuing legal education (CLE) program in Fort Worth sponsored by the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Khirallah was selected by the State Bar as one of a handful of speakers chosen for their “exceptional trial skills and knowledge in topics that every trial lawyer needs to know.”

During the two-day program at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel, Mr. Khirallah shared his insights with other local attorneys on the “Mechanics of Jury Selection,” which focused on the best ways to identify jurors who can benefit a client’s case.

Mr. Khirallah worked with fellow Hamilton Wingo partner Chris Hamilton and renowned jury selection expert Lisa Blue of Dallas’ Baron and Blue to pick the jury in a case heard last year in Dallas County Court at Law #5 that resulted in the largest verdict in Texas and the entire country.

The Courtroom View Network recognized the jury’s $7.37 billion verdict as the “Most Impressive Plaintiffs Verdict of 2022” among all the trials aired by the broadcaster during the past year.

Mr. Khirallah also led a session at the recent CLE program about the key areas attorneys should focus on when choosing and preparing expert witnesses for depositions and live court testimony.
