For more than a decade, Stephen Blackburn has represented individuals and communities who have been wronged by some of the largest, most powerful companies in the world. Mr. Blackburn was instrumental in obtaining significant settlements in the In Re: MTBE Contamination (MDL 1358) environmental contamination cases, as well as more than 200 favorable outcomes in a variety of toxic chemical exposure cases and product liability lawsuits involving defective products. Mr. Blackburn believes everyone has an equal right to the best possible representation- not just the companies that have the deepest pockets to pay teams of lawyers. His current representative matters include:
  • Representing families against oil and gas extractors who caused such excessive contamination that a water well exploded, causing catastrophic personal injuries
  • Representing a family in a wrongful death action involving gross negligence caused by doctors who failed to follow any standard of care while treating a wife and mother of two young children
